The Belt System

The Steelastic® belt system utilizes a production proven process that provides premium quality steel breaker material for passenger car radial (PCR), truck & bus radial (TBR), and off the road (OTR) tires. In addition this system is ideal for use in producing material for recreational and industrial rubber tracks, industrial rubber hose reinforcement (steel or textile), industrial conveyor belt material, and many other applications.

Featuring our proprietary high pressure E Die extrusion technique, these systems maintain precision cord end count positioning, gauge control, and overall dimensional stability. In addition, the belt making system is equipped with automatic splice control and is capable of producing breaker from 18° to 90°.

The streamlined process offers lower processing and labor costs when compared with traditional methods, as well as reduced scrap. The scale and simplicity of the system translates into less required floor space, lower maintenance costs, and greater flexibility. The result being the ultimate in quality, versatility and efficiency.
